In less than a week we’ll be on a plane to the UK and I’m debating between bringing my $20 rolling carry on suitcase, or my beloved backpack that is more than a little questionable as a carry on.

I was shocked to find my interest in the stock market piqued by … a work of fiction. And yet, it happened. Check out Hernan Diaz’s latest work here.

If you’re looking for some new tunes, I highly recommend Errol Nazareth’s CBC Music program Frequencies, available for on-demand listening. The recent episode is all about Afghanistan, which is both poignant and timely.

Wishing you a lovely week.
