Midweek Reset – October 26
The Midweek Reset comes out (usually) on Wednesdays, and is full of fun links, recipes, books, and articles to refresh your week. You can find previous Midweek Resets using the search bar, or check out last week’s Reset here.
In less than a week we’ll be on a plane to the UK and I’m debating between bringing my $20 rolling carry on suitcase, or my beloved backpack that is more than a little questionable as a carry on.
I’m also completely committed to cramming in my favourite face wash that takes your makeup off without making you look like a racoon. And I’m lusting over this top which looks like it would survive four weeks being rolled in a suitcase.
“There are no winners in the intergenerational battle” – I’ve been leading trauma trainings recently, and I really enjoyed this article.
I was shocked to find my interest in the stock market piqued by … a work of fiction. And yet, it happened. Check out Hernan Diaz’s latest work here.
If you’re looking for some new tunes, I highly recommend Errol Nazareth’s CBC Music program Frequencies, available for on-demand listening. The recent episode is all about Afghanistan, which is both poignant and timely.
Wishing you a lovely week.
