Are you ready for fall adventures?

Even if it’s still 28°C in parts of Canada, fall is just around the corner, and it’s one of the best times to tackle an autumn bucket list. Looking for some autumn inspiration? Here are some must-visit spots for October and November:

Dingle, Ireland

Summer crowds are gone, but the weather is still perfect for exploring. Take a leisurely drive around the peninsula or spend a few days soaking up the beauty and great food in town.

St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada

August is usually the prime time for weather in Newfoundland, but don’t overlook the fall. Mid-October brings stunning fall colours and cooler temperatures. It’s the perfect time to hit the Rennie’s River Trail and enjoy a hot drink on a cozy patio. St. John’s has to be on any autumn bucket list.

New York City, USA

Okay, it might be a bit of a classic pick, but New York in the fall is magical. The city’s parks and streets are bursting with autumn colours, making it a fantastic fall getaway.

Falmouth, England

Fall in Falmouth still feels like summer, with a bit less humidity. You can enjoy the beach, museums, and al fresco dining, all while appreciating the crisp evening air that refreshes you after a day out. Check out this list of things to do while visiting Falmouth.

Kingston, Ontario

Tourists have mostly left, but the city is still buzzing with students. Hop on the Wolfe Island Ferry for some gorgeous fall scenery, bike rides, and maybe a gelato at Mio’s.

Mabou & Margaree, Nova Scotia, Canada

Skip the crowds on the Sunrise Trail and head to Mabou and Margaree. You can hike Skye Mountain, grab fish and chips at the Red Shoe, visit the Highland Village Museum, enjoy hot chocolate at the Dancing Goat, and drive through the picturesque Margaree Valley. Don’t miss Lake-O-Law Provincial Park—it’s a lesser-known gem.

Receiver Coffee Company in Charlottetown

November might not be everyone’s favourite time for PEI, but if you’re not looking to hit the beach, it’s a great time to enjoy the moody, crisp atmosphere. Cozy up in local restaurants and theatres, and take in the scenic drives along the water.
